UNIMAK’s Centre for Social Transformation has prepared a new programme for pastoral agents in the country in a bid to reflect on the models of mission so far used in the churches in Sierra Leone and then explore new models in the face of the post Ebola crisis in the country.
The programme is designed for pastoral agents in the churches in Sierra Leone, who are working in the parishes, communities and schools, and their need to gain better understanding of their mission; the opportunities and challenges facing the church in their context; more skills and strategies to engage in pastoral ministries in their communities; building God’s kingdom in their communities, and the spirituality they need to engage in this ministry.
The programme runs from 4th-8th April 2016.
