The American Corner in the UNIMAK Library has been established in collaboration with the United States of America Embassy in Freetown. The internet Library was also set up with funds from the US Embassy. The Public Affairs unit of the Embassy started this relationship in 2015.
Students from various departments are using the facility as a resource centre . The Management of UNIMAK is grateful to the US Embassy for 
their contribution in the development of the education sector in Sierra Leone.
